STATUS QUO OF CHINA INDUSTRY
China’s fiber processing volume has maintained a steady growth in the past few years, according to the ministry of industry, statistics show that the amount of processing fibers in 2016 reached 54 million 200 thousand tons, an increase of 2.3%, accounting for more than 50% of the total global fiber processing.
THE FIVE YEAR PLAN
The industry, according to the “13th Five-Year” development plan, is expected to expand during the next four years, with China’s fiber processing capacity reaching annual growth rate of 100-200 million tons, to achieve 2020 60 million tons, an increase of 3.5% under stable outputs.
CHINA WORLDS LARGEST
China is already the world’s largest textile processing country, as well as the world’s largest exporter of textiles.According to the China Industry Association, since 2010, China’s and garment exports accounted for the major proportion of global garment exports and increased steadily, but the growth rate gradually slowed down.
