YAO PORCELAIN HISTORY
Yaoli porcelain tea town is located in the Yao scenic spot of Yao Town, Fuliang County, Jingdezhen. It is the first historical and cultural town in Jiangxi CHINA province. It has been more than two thousand years since it was built in the Western Han dynasty.
Ju town in southern Xiangshan, North Wollongong Shishan, a meandering clear Yao River runs through the valley, along the river lie well-proportioned, hundreds of ancient buildings from Ming and Qing Dynasties, cornices, named fenqiangdaiwa, all nestled in-between the green mountains and rivers.
The Porcelain – tea growing – sightseeing area represents the core area of Yao in the scenic landscape. Yao people are very particular with their diet, only food from natural sources, presenting local characteristics and patterns of growing.
Their Yao restaurant is to rely on the local Chatemingchan manufacture, the unique local flavor of folk cuisine, quite well-known in Jiangxi province.
There are special dishes of stewed partridge and “turtles steal mushrooms”, bacon and dry meat, soups, pickles, pickles ‘wet pit head’, yellow powdered boiled tofu, fried bread, pickles ‘wet gray soup’, fried yellow bamboo shoots and beans.
Yao Li people snack with variety, including a unique local flavor, each season has different characteristics and flavor of local snacks, including pearl rice, oil, fried rice cake Qingming, lye, rice cake.
