Sandstorm Dubai hits Bahrain – ( coming from Saudi Arab desert ). People who are caught in it facing a number of unpleasant experiences.
First, sand gets into ones Nostrils and Ears, Eyes. This alone is a risk. You also inhale the extremely fine sand dust.
Nothing seems to be able to stop the sand gusts. People generally cover their faces with scarves or handkerchiefs.
The dust is so fine that you can clearly feel it entering your nose and eyes. It burns quiet severely when it enters into your eyes.
Eye-infections are common as a result. Harm to Air-passages is unknown, but I carried away a 2 months lasting cough session. Not too pleasant if this is combined with the Asian flu.
