Eight years lie between those pictures. A different world I entered back in 1979.
From the delights of South East Asia ( Taiwan )
to African uncertainty. Some call it fate. Some luck.
Whichever you want to apply, both are true.
Taiwan was easy going. Africa not. Complicated, tensions, work related, as well as of private nature.
Africa = after 6 months of first setting foot on I fell ill. Very ill.
That took me to another part of the world. But this later.

Torture in MING and QING dynasty in old China
In this rainforest we find all animals we normally would in Brazil. We have Boa constrictors of 14 m lenght, we have most reptiles, and we also have the black jaguar, the panther. In addition we find the Forest Leopard, and of course all other mammals. This is due to the fact that millions of years ago the continents were joined together, and seperated thereafter, leaving evolution in much similar fashion on both continents

What has happened over the past months?
For one major event has taken over the events of everyone.
People are not yet fully comprehending, but those living back in Europe
have had their lives changed.
There are millions of new faces from all over the globe, and not all are
welcome.
Governments in Europe are teaming up and force so called refugees on European
citizens.
By what mandate one can only ask. It is a forced relationship that cannot have
a positive response in European countries.
Time will show if this is going down easy with Europe populace, or it will throw yet
bigger waves.

Johnson, after the murder of J.F. Kennedy.In the background stands one guy who can be seen smiling to Lyndon B., this during the swearing in ceremony as president. Logging in from other resources for example results in firing up their extensive privacy protection apparatus. Account locked. First reaction: confused. Why do you? These pictures below arefrom a sequence of my upcoming book.It shows mechanics in the bush on the road to upper Guinea, where we had a breakdown,
these mechanics managed to repair the car without any difficulties, with very simple tools.
All these and more in the upcoming book.

Still working editing on my new book, which essentially covers my 1 st part of life in Africa.
Spanning three decades and one half, this book draws from ample resources of materials to write about.
It takes us back to the 70's and 80's to the 90's, where and when times were different here.
We will not reveal its content at this moment in full : Here are some excerpts :
' Daß .. kein richtiger Freund war, wurde mir erst klar, als er irgendwann bei mir auftauchte als ich gerade Besuch hatte.
Es
war ein lukratives Geschäft, Fremdwährung zu
wechseln. Bekannte aus Deutschland, die DM in lokale Währung
tauschenmußten, kamen oft zuuns um lokale Währung zu
holen.
Als er unangemeldet auftauchte hatte ich Besuch
von einem der gerade lokale Währung brauchte.
In
einem unbeoachteten Augenblick sprach er die Person an und
defamierte mich, er solle sich bei ihm die lokale Währung
holen.
Als mich mein Bekannter wieder traf, erzählte
dieser von .. und dessen aufdringlicher Art, die ihm nicht
gefiel.
Erwarnte mich vor solchen Freunden.'

Some of us could not comprehend what we saw. This is the reason why we ask for viewers discretion.
Unimaginable penalties forthose caught in breaking the rules of society.
If you were caught as a prostitute you could expect no mercy.
The image shows it all.

Below is Brazils former liberation fighter - during its Military governmental rule - Dilma Roussef .She was a fighter for personal liberties and freedom and was sent to a military tribunal on trial.
The now turned president has abandoned her principles and prefers personal wealth and personal luxury instead,
forsaking her country s natural wealth and ecologoy.
What a change in a lifetime of activism. Disgraced.

Cabbages and CondomesPerhaps we leave it only at cabbages. These are more than enough left to wonder about.
All new old pictures from our archives. The below listed is an old friend I first got to know in Bangkok Thailand in 1976. He is an expert on snakes. In these pictures he handles a King Cobra like a child almost.
When he opened the cage, he patted the cage grass only slightly, and the huge King Cobra came to him like a house pet. He patted her on her head, explaining to me : " She is sick " . He knows : snakes have feelings too as it appeared.

SNAKES AND SUCH
Talk about snakes. See this African python ( they are very aggressiv and snap their jaws in a clack clack sound ).My friend was catching and exporting many species, amongst them - African pythons.
One day when removing from the cage, a 3m python got loose and in a fraction wound itself onto its victim who held it.
The snake started squeezing the hell out of the poor fellow, and during the process it dispelled its feces.
My friend said he never had such terrible smell all his life! They finally removed the snake with the help of 3 people.
Think about it before you venture into the bush.

Untergaisberg
Since I moved here I notice that life within a untouched nature can have its positive sides. Yes Africa is unique in most ways, Austria is a cluster of perfection. Everything working, all transport in order, modern trains, good social security. Especially when it comes to medical care, one should not ignore age.
I am saying this from experience and pain. When diasaster strikes it strikes with vicious force.
Fresh, clean air, cold and clear mountin spring water ist what I missed. Now this is standard.
Going to Vienna from here is a matter of 1 hour, Take the bus to Saxen at 7, train to Grein at half past 7, bus to Amstetten at 8, then the train to Vienna. Comfort. Enjoy stressfree rides. Leave the car at home and grab public transport.
